How to Use the Law of Attraction According to the Ascended Masters

The Ascended Masters teach us how to use the Law of Attraction through the power of Love. Not a human love as we sometimes know it, but a Universal Love that is a power and presence within us.

This blog is inspired by the book, The “I AM” Discourses on Supply, by the Ascended Masters. It was published in 2003, but dictated in 1949. I love the description on how to use the Law of Attraction, so I will quote it here. Yes, the language is old fashion, but the point comes across to me and I hope it does for you too.

Get a Firm, Clear Picture of What You Want
“In producing anything constructive into outer manifestation, you much come fundamentally to the Understanding that unless you created the Picture clear, distinct and definite in your own mind, you do not have the anchorage for the Light Substance with produces Freedom. You do not have a Cup, so to speak, into which the Energy and the Power of your Life can concentrate with enough pressure to become the thing manifest n the outer world which you desire.” (pg 3-4)

Thoughts are things; Feelings are things; Words are things
“Everything that comes into outer manifestation has a mental picture or you could not produce it into the physical world, nor even in the mental and feeling world. Every thought you think has a picture within it which represents that thing to you; and these thoughts are things. Feelings are things! Words are things!

Follow me today with clear, alert attention and undisturbed feeling. If your feeling is not undisturbed, you are compelling part of the energy of your emotional body into whatever your attention is focused upon; and you receive only a small portion of that which I, otherwise, can give you in Its Fullness.”

How to State a Clear, Focused Affirmation of Your Good
“When you give your Decrees (i.e. affirmations), stop a moment before you begin, get a clear mental picture of what you want to produce, and then while you are saying your Decrees, hold the mental picture and pour your Love and Enjoyment of the the thing you desire into the energy with which you give the Decree.”

Love in Your Feeling World is the Magnetic Attraction
“The Love in your feeling world is the Magnetic Attraction within your own Life Energy which draws the Universal Cosmic Light Substance and condenses into the thing you decree into outer manifestation. This is just as necessary as molding a loaf of bread out of a piece of dough. There isn’t the slightest difference. If you do not have a mental picture of the shape of your loaf of bread, you would not make a loaf of bread that shape.”

Doubt and Fear as Repellent Forces
“Your own feeling world, if it be charged with doubt or fear, is the thing that pushes away the Fulfillment of your Call, because both doubt and fear are repellent forces. They are not Love, therefore not Attractive.

A Feeling of Love and Enjoyment About the Thing You Desire
“Love is the Great Cohesive Power of the Universe and is the Vibratory Action which coalesces the Universal Light Substance into the picture of what you desire to produce quickly.

The Love in your feeling about a thing is the Enjoyment of it before it becomes manifested. Therefore in the anticipation of the Fulfillment of your Call is the opportunity wherein lies your work, or activity, of pouring your Love into the thing you are decreeing into outer use. (pg 6)

If you hold clearly in your mind the Picture from the “Presence,” and then you pour upon that Picture your Love and Enjoyment of doing what the “Presence” wants you to do, you will do it!”

Your “Presence” is the Power
“You will find as you maintain the Love, Harmony, and Enjoyment of holding the Picture of the “Presence” doing a thing, It will release from Its own Hands into your outer use that which you require. You will find, My Dear Ones, Supply, Opportunities, and wonderful Blessings coming to you from channels you never dreamed were in existence.”

You Have a Direct Connection with Your “Mighty I AM Presence”
“Every individual has his or her own direct connection with his or her own “Mighty I AM Presence,” which is Life’s Open Door of boundless Supply to each one. … Love alone is the Fulfillment of the Law of Perfect Manifestation in the physical octave.”

Love to Your “Presence” First —God the Great Supplier
“Therefore, unless your Love goes to your “I AM Presence” in the Enjoyment of holding the Picture the “Presence” wants, you do not open the Door. By sending your Love and asking the “Presence” to produce it into our hands and use out here Its own Divine Way by the Power of Its own Love—you give the “Presence” the Open Door by which Its own Magnetic Currents can draw from many channels more than you can use in the physical octave.”

Opening the Door of the Unlimited
“I am trying to help you today to let go of the little tight channels so you may open your world to limitless Channels of God’s boundless Opulence. So long as you keep your attention fastened on people you will be limited. Until you lift your attention to that “I AM Presence” and to the Ascended Host who are wholly Unlimited, you cannot have the Gifts of the Unlimited. You cannot have the Divine Pictures of the Manifestation of the Unlimited unless you come through the Door of the Unlimited, with your “Presence” and the Ascended Host are with no uncertainty.”
